"Great Service as usual from My Health Carers. Can you feed back to staff: they are always on time which is much appreciate and shows that care is taken with there rosters so that they can get here on time(believe it or not this is a major issue with other agencies), staff never arrive harassed or stressed (if they are they always cover it up well) they always appear calm and happy to be here which means that Yvonne is calm immediately, always professional with good boundaries, open to learning and increasing skills, very competent when working with someone with complexed needs. Yvonne always comments on how well presented the girls are - she loves their uniforms Really happy with all aspects of care and support."

"When my charming and favourite friend at Home Carers Yvonne asked me whether I would be prepared to put down my thoughts on the Home Carers Service I jumped at the opportunity.

As my name suggests I was fully imported from the Netherlands well over half a century ago, and I thought, that I was invincible, until mother nature dished me out a stroke, changing my world.

My wife Helen did not run away as some partners would have been tempted to do, because I was never easy to live with (I was reminded by others). I found a glorious support group of caring ladies, who made my life a lot easier by attending "around the clock" and keeping my morale up by attending to the hygiene department, and it would be unfair to single out a particular person, but in this case I venture to do so, and the "Captain" of them all became a very nice lady named Yvonne.

Incidentally, this epistle is edited and approved by my lovely wife Helen, who so far has agreed with every word I wrote."

CONCLUSION

"The Home Carers service in indeed a most important service made available to "Dinosaurs" like me and the personnel are most competent without exception.

In conclusion, I was honoured indeed to be given the opportunity to express my feelings.

Dear Home Carers,

"Congratulations for employing such wonderful staff!

As you are aware, recently I have worked with Home Carers to organize, care & support for two of my clients.

In both cases the staff have greatly impressed the clients and their families. The feedback has been very positive. It would be remiss of me not to feedback this to you and your staff.

The carers, who have attend my clients, have been fantastic. There is a lovely lady who becomes quite distressed when her usual carer goes on holidays. This time she has been ringing me, letting me know how wonderful the 'girlie' was, she has rung me every day. The experience has been very positive, and she has even stated that she will be ok the next time the usual carer goes on leave, She may even let the 'girlies' give her personal care support. What an achievement! Thank you.

The carers that have attended another of my clients have been great also. Our clients speaks highly of all. This client
usually dismisses the carers, due to her declined cognitive state. This time she even tells our carers that someone is coming to shower her on weekends, and both husband & wife are enjoying the food assistance of a week night. Again a great achievement.

Please pass on to your staff, my gratitude, and the gratitude of the families concerned, it is a great relief when your client/family are happy with the services provided. Again, thankyou for rostering such wonderful staff."
