Melissa who has worked in the Community Health industry for over 20 years, identified the need for quality community care services in their region. Melissa who founded My Health Carers in 2000, her vision for My Health Carers to provide high quality and professionally trained staff who were valued and supported.

Melissa founded My Health Carers as Home Carers in 2000 after identifying a need for quality care services in the region.

Melissa holds a Bachelor in Social Welfare and an Advanced Diploma in Management and HR Management qualifications in Training and Assessment.

Melissa has been involved in Federal Government initiatives supporting adults with disabilities, children and people with psychiatric disabilities. Melissa's experience has included Management, Case Management and direct care and support to disadvantaged members of the community and has a strong commitment to social justice.

Paul has 24 years experience in the building and customer service industries. Paul's primary role is to liaise with care managers and Occupational Therapists to deliver home maintenance and gardening services.

Paul attends client's homes to assist with all their home maintenance needs and has access to licensed trade professionals when certification is necessary.

Debbie joined the My Health Carers team in 2009 is one of many of our valued Direct Care staff. Debbie, like her fellow colleagues, is qualified in the aged care and disability fields. Debbie visits her regular clients each week, to assist with showering, meal preparation, appointments, shopping etc. Debbie works as a PCA in a facility caring for aged care residents. Presently Debbie is undertaking her Div 2 nursing qualification.

Gill holds a Diploma of Social Welfare (UK) and joined MHC in 2005 bringing 12 years experience in Aged Care as a Deputy Manager of a Residential Aged Care Home and case Manager/Care Coordinator under the CAPS (Community Care Packages) Program for Vision Australia.

Gill's senior position involves liaising with customers, overseeing My Health Carers' quality Assurance processes and reviewing and implementing continual improvement strategies.

Rhonda has worked for over 30 years in bookkeeping roles. Rhonda joined the My Health Carers team in 2009. Rhonda's position with the company is Accounts Receivable ensuring all accounts are kept within trading terms.

Elesha is a Qualified Accountant (CPA) with services and manufacturing experience. She joined the My Health Carers team in 2009. Elesha is responsible for Payroll, financial reporting and accounts payable.

In my spare time I like fishing, motor racing, kayaking and catching up with friends.

Virginia

Virginia commenced with My Health Carers in 2009 and brings with her 25 years of combined experience in aged/disability and welfare services and administrative/secretarial support.

Virginia has qualifications in Administration and Aged & Disability Care and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Business and Human Resources Management.

Virginia's role as Service Co-ordinator is to liaise with Care Managers to match suitable carers to clients and their individual needs, co-ordinating garden and maintenance services, and assists with administration.

Rochelle has 11 years experience in disability and Aged Care has worked as a Disability Support Worker developing Care Plans and running respite and activity Programs. Rochelle's aged care experience is in Management of an Aged Care facility.
